HOW to start
The Park Record Newspaper Online
As the first major web project I worked on, bringing the Park Record online was quite the challange. Once an intial web design concept was approved, I decided to take several steps forward in time -- this was 1996 -- and implimented a system where as writers/editors in the newsroom finished their stories, files were automatically formatted and moved to the website within minutes. The website was delivering the news faster than the newspaper could. Within a short period of time, online readership exceeded the print subscribers.
